About Monika Szuban

Monika is a UX and interaction designer with roots in Industrial Design and a current focus on human-machine interaction. She holds a bachelor’s in industrial design from Kraków, Poland, and is pursuing a master’s in User Experience Design at THI, where she also works as a student assistant.

Her portfolio spans mobile, web, and immersive prototypes, combining design reasoning with practical prototyping (Figma, Unity, and basic scripting) to move from insight to implementation. She is comfortable operating across research and build, structuring studies, refining flows, and translating findings into clear, testable systems. Recent work includes Grannify, a dual-platform concept on intergenerational knowledge-sharing, which she presented at the CHI 2025 Student Design Competition in Yokohama, Japan. Her academic focus is human-machine interaction in intelligent, context-aware systems.
