- 1. Data Collected for Recruitment
Typical data collected at the recruitment stage includes:
- Name and contact details (e.g., e-mail address)
- Availability and scheduling preferences
- Basic eligibility information (e.g., age range, driver’s license status)
- Study-specific screening questions where necessary
Only the information required to assess eligibility and organize participation is requested.
- 2. Purpose of Processing
Data from recruitment forms is used for:
- Determining whether you meet the inclusion criteria for the study
- Contacting you with study-related information
- Scheduling and coordinating appointments or remote sessions
Your data will not be used for unrelated marketing or non-research purposes.
- 3. Storage Duration and Deletion
Recruitment data is stored:
- At least until the end of the recruitment phase
- Potentially until the completion of the associated study, if needed for documentation
If you are not selected or decide not to participate, your data is typically deleted after a reasonable period, unless legal or funding requirements dictate otherwise.
- 4. Legal Basis and Consent
By submitting a recruitment form, you indicate your interest in being contacted about the study. The legal basis for processing is:
- Your consent, where explicitly requested, and/or
- The legitimate interest of the research team in organizing participation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future.
- 5. Withdrawing and Contacting the Team
If you wish to withdraw from the recruitment process or ask for deletion of your data, please contact the study team using the contact details provided in the recruitment materials.
Once data has been fully anonymized for analysis, it may no longer be possible to delete individual records.
